Skiing On My Mind

So,  I was just remembering some of my first Alta turns.  Nick and I did laps under the Germania Lift all day UNBELIEVABLE!!!  We were blown away.  Powder conditions, great pitch, and tons of fun.  I actually think Fred’s Trees is the only run we skied all day.

Later that day, Jesse, a Peruvian employee who had been around for a few years, said , a little sarcastically, “you guys really like Fred’s trees, huh?”  I remember thinking, “Yeah, they were sick, where were you sucka.”        As Freshman year continued into a full Graduate Program at UofA, I continued to be schooled in the Alta Goods.  Fred’s trees was literally the tip of the iceberg.  I am a bit older and wiser now, but always plenty to learn.  Hoping to go back for the Doctorate sooner than later!!!!
